Jessie Mobley has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. While living in Los Angeles following the birth of her daughter, Mobley launched a concierge beauty brand, offering in-home services to those unable to make it into a salon.
“I would put my daughter in my chest carrier, and she’d fall asleep to the sound of the hair dryer,” says Jessie.
931 Beauty Co is going into 2023 with news of its latest expansion, where the brand will be breaking ground on a new salon. The company is also looking to expand their business and staff as their revenue continues to grow. 931 Beauty Co is excited to provide training for new recruits, directly out of beauty school, so that they may continue to maintain a well balanced workplace environment.
With over two decades immersed in the beauty industry, Stephanie's journey began at the age of 15. Originally from Los Angeles, she started her career in NYC after stumbling upon Kevin Aucoin's "Making Faces," igniting a passion in her that would shape her career trajectory. She went on to work for NY Fashion Week with top designers for many years. From there she has traveled the world with her craft specializing in editorial print, TV, runway, and now bridal.
Statistically, by age of 30, 1 in 4 men and 12 percent of women will experience hair loss outside the normal scope of daily shedding. “Hair loss can be a very humbling, confusing and lonely experience. It can be disorienting to lose what we associate with youth and vitality’ says Jessie Mobley owner of 931 Beauty Co.
